Information Use
Information provided to Blinds and Shutters (VIC) Pty Ltd is not shared with any entities or parties who are not specifically in the business of providing blinds. Your information will not be sold, shared or otherwise distributed to anyone other than our blind fabricators who require this shared information for purposes of shipping the product. We understand and value the need for privacy with financial and personal information, and guard such data with the utmost care.
Log files
Like most standard web site servers, we use log files. This includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyse trends, administer this site, track user’s movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information.
E-Mail Forms
All data submitted to us through emails and quoting submission forms to us is ONLY used by us to review data and offer the price based on the information provided. It’s not sold or shared with any third parties.
Customer service
We communicate with users on a regular basis to provide requested services and in regards to issues relating to the account we reply via email or phone, in accordance with the user’s wishes.

This site takes every precaution to protect our users’ information. When users submit sensitive information via this site, the information is protected both online and off-line.
Correcting / updating / deleting / deactivating personal information
If a user’s personally identifiable information changes (such as area code, phone, email or postal address), or if a user no longer desires our service, we provide a way to correct, update or delete/deactivate users’ personally identifiable information. This can usually be done by emailing our Customer Support. Alternatively, contact us by telephone or post at the contact information listed on this site.

WARRANTY
Blinds and Shutters (VIC) Pty Ltd Warrants to our purchaser that the window furnishings product set out below will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period as set out under each category. Our obligation is limited to repair or replacement of the product or componentry found to be defective and includes installation costs for a period of 12 Months from date of purchase. After this period a service fee will apply.
- Blinds and Shutters (VIC) Pty Ltd reserves the right to discharge its obligation under this warranty by refunding the original purchase price of the product.
- Warranty claims must be accompanied by proof of purchase.
- Before making a claim, you must ensure goods are paid in full.
This warranty does NOT cover damage caused by:
- misuse, abuse or accident.
- It also doesn’t cover normal wear and tear, nor changes in the product which occur normally with the passage of time.
- exposure to elements (Sun) discoloration, warping of natural products and natural variation of colour and grain to certain products.
- Exposure to Marine Environment, Including salt spray, moisture laden air and corrosive environments.
- Storm damage, tempest, lightening or act of God.
- Awnings that are left out in winds at any time.
- Not following the care and cleaning instructions as provided by us.
- Any modification or Installation carried out by any person other than a Blinds and Shutters (VIC) Pty Ltd technician.
Electrician costs are not covered. Scaffolding, scissor lifts and cherry pickers are also not covered under warranty, it is the consumers responsibility to ensure clear and safe access is available for install.
Warranty is not transferable. The warranty is for the benefit of the original purchaser, who purchased the products and does not cover rental premises or commercial applications.
Our goods and services come with the guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. www.consumerlaw.gov.au.
